Win-E-Mac School District has worked to ensure the proposed referendum will provide long-term value to residents. If approved by voters, this plan would be supported by a property tax increase that would take effect in 2026.
If the operating levy is approved, a $300,000 home in the district (approx. median value) would see a property tax increase of $23.38 per month starting in 2026.

How is an operating levy taxed?
Operating levies only apply to residential and commercial/industrial properties. Agricultural and seasonal/recreational property would not be subject to a tax increase if voters approve the referendum.
